Jellyfish

The aforementioned blue hat that I knitted was referred to last night as a jellyfish. As in "why is there a jellyfish sitting on your head?" Sadly, after much reflection, I realized that yes, the blue hat does resemble a jellyfish.

Sigh.

So as I was falling asleep last night I was trying to figure out how to make the next hat smaller and more hat like, and less like a Monterey Bay Aquarium exhibit when I came up with a very disturbing conclusion.

I was going to have to do math.

You see if I cast 10 or 20 less stitches on the hat to make it smaller, I am going to have figure out when and how many stitches to decrease at the top of the hat to make it all roundy at top. That involves math; possible subtraction or addition or some weird algerbraic equation and well, I'm sorry, but homie don't do math.

So instead I'm going to work on making my head bigger.
