Anyway, Elaine managed to sleuth out our results and this is how I did:
My time was 1:20. In my age group I was 14 out of 36, and overall I was 105 out of 214. Right smack in the middle again.
Broken down it looks like this:
Swim: 10:07
T1: 3:04
Bike: 35:22
T2: 1:47
Run:29:45
I'm annoyed at myself for the first transistion, my bike helmet came unclipped, and I had to rethread it. I've got to remember to check my equipment before the race. So I have three (possibly 4) more tris this summer. I think I can improve my swim time and my run time by the end of the summer. I might actually try training.

training, whats that???
good job out there.
i forgot about the pink, i hope september isn't suffocating in pepto bizmo colors also.
i like green
Excuse me Lizzie, I happen to LIKE the green t-shirt. Remember, I said it was just what I needed for St. Patrick's Day? It was the size that was the problem. Although, to be fair, I e-mailed them and suggested PINK which is a very princess-y color yeah?
training is what I say I'm going to do right before I blow off masters swim class to go mountain biking. :)
What??? 3 more tris? You are crazy girl! That's a lot of tris for hating to swim and ride a road bike ;)
Great Job, Elizabeth! :-)
Well, she's got the mt. bike at Lake Almaden, then there's Pacific Grove, where she will do the sprint distance because its also a mt. bike one, then there's the See Jane Tri one because I'm trying to talk her into it so right there you've got at least 3. 2 of them involve mt. bikes.
Congratulations on the tri! You rock!
Next year we are all doing muddy buddy! ;)
yey Muddy Buddy!!!
Awesome as always!! You continue to inspire me!
Guess what??? I got a new bike. I'm now cross-training. No swimming on the horizon. Lack of pool. And yes, I know I'm right next to the Pacific, but it is reeeeeaaaaallllllly cold!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes I'm a wimp for cold. *grin*
Ooh, Kate. I see a triathalon in your future! :)
