All I need is love, love, love...

And a bike stand.
And perhaps a bicycle tool kit.
And a trainer. That would be cool.

Just making a list for Valentines day. If I'm going to celebrate a commercialized day for love, then I'm not taking any chances on getting a teddybear with a satin heart, or some such nonsense. Sure, we can do the whole "hanging out and spending quality time together to celebrate our love" thing, but ever since you showed me the ad for a romantic candlelight dinner for two at White Castle, I'm thinking a definition of quality time might be in order.

If it involves a coupon, a two for one special, or has the words "late night with David Letterman" it is NOT quality time.
My ex-fiance took me out for a birthday dinner to Dennys. Apparently you get a free meal on your birthday. Note he is now my "ex fiance". I'm just saying.

For my part, I promise not to take you on a little mountain bike ride through 10 miles of punishing singletrack and call it romantic. I realize there are sweaty things we can do as a couple that don't involve heart rate monitors or clipless pedals. (Or they might, but this being a family blog, we won't go there.)

So what to do for Valentines day? How can you say "My love for you is as endless as the tides that sweep the ocean shore, and I am limited only by my mere mortal body and bank account in my expression of this love?"

Well, cool. Glad you asked 'cause Sportsbasement is having a sale, and I really want a tool kit for my bike.
