You probably cannot tell in the picture, or would even notice a difference if you saw them in person, but every time I put these on, I will know that one of them is knit in the rib stitch using knit one, purl one. And the other is knit in the rib stitch following the actual pattern of knit two, purl two.
ARrghhhhgghghhhh! For the love of all things wool, what is the deal with me and counting?? I accept that I am a children's librarian and numbers aren't my thing, but geez o pete, I can read. How hard can it be, knit two, then purl two!
Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, DAMN.
Okay, I'm over it. Whatever. The hell I'm going to knit them again. They are too brown. And kind of boring. I'll just have to keep from explaining to every one that sees them how one is knitted correctly and the other is not. But I swear each time I wear them I'm going to be singing "one of these things is not like the other, one of these things doesn't belong..."
Sigh.
