but life got in the way.
Just when I have lots to blog about, I don't blog. Curly Gurls are contrary that way, I guess.
I'm running a half marathon on Sunday. Maybe I'm running HALF of the half marathon, I don't know. But I'll start at the starting line, and I'll stop running when I can't take another step, and then I'll walk. I'm very excited. I'm very excited because this is one of the few times I have made it to a running race without injury myself during training.
Brian is going to be there on his bike and a backpack full of gu, and water and gatorade and bandaids for me. He's my own personal SAG wagon, but much cuter. Luckily I have hidden the annoying blow up bangy things that he got last season to cheer me on at the cross country races. (Blowup bangy things sounds dirty, but it's not.) Maybe he'll make me a sign. But I doubt it. More likely he'll bring the supplies along to MAKE the sign, then leave them at the side of the road like he did for Floyd Landis when he raced the Tour of California a couple of years ago. I wonder who found that purple paper anyway?
This blog has gotten way off track.
So Sunday I'm running a half marathon. Then I'm going to do the Surf City cyclocross race with my cross country friend Jill. Or at least I'm trying to convince her to race. I'm pretty good at that. Just ask Paul and Judith. If I was an x-men, convincing people to do silly races would be my special mutant power.
And yet again this blog goes off track.
I guess what I really want to say is I'm running a half marathon Sunday. Oh wait, I already said that.
Hm.
Well, did you know that Randy Couture retired from the UFC?
Okay, I just lost this blog post completley. Time to go.
