Umm, whatever

Did you know that there was a convention of female bloggers at San Jose last week. It was called BlogHer.

Um, why?

Why do bloggers need a convention? Isn't blogging something you do between bike rides and at work when you're bored?

"It was a much less defensive tone than at last year's conference, when many women were fighting for their own sense of legitimacy in the blogosphere..."

I blog, therefore I am?? And there's a blogosphere? Maybe that's where velobellas lost post went. They should send it back.

"In 'o5 the big question was, why aren't there more women listed on the vaunted Technorati Top 100 blogs?"

Now wait a minute here. There's a list of top 100 blogs?!? How do they know those are the best? Do they read EVERYONE'S blog before they decide? I bet they didn't read mine. They would have really liked mine.

I didn't realize there were people out there using their blogs to change the world. Wow. Well, okay then. Listen up influential blog people making top ten lists of best blogs, these are the changes I would like to see made:

If you could attend to the whole world peace thing, I'd appreciate it.

More vegetarian options in the fast food world, because if I have to eat another box of french fries at Burger King I'm gonna puke.

Seperate age categories for women in the cccx downhill race because I don't want to race against some sprightly 16 year old just cause we're all girls.

Weekends off. I'm plenty tired of working on the weekends.

I think that's about it for now, but if I think of anything else I'll let you know.

blogosphere ...

sounds like one of those movies with Pauly Shore where eternal adolescents act the fool and giggle like they're high all the time.
