yes, but did you have fun?

I rolled into the house with my Nomad this afternoon and was greeted with "Hi sweetie. How was your ride? Did you have fun?"

ummmmmmmmm....well....

I was here.

Then I climbed an awfully long time to get here.

Then I road down this.

Which felt like I was riding over these.

So I rested a bit here.

And chatted with this fellow.

Before moving on.

I don't think Santa Teresa and fun really belong in the same sentence.

I had fun when it was over. :) That is one really, really rocky trail.

I will probably run across you sometime there. Thats a lunch time romping ground for me. Only 10 minutes from work so you can't be too picky I suppose.

Cool! I'm planning on riding up there more often this summer.
Are you on your mountain bike, or your road bike?

Rocky Ridge..on my road bike?

You mean you're not suppose to ride your road bike down rocky ridge? Maybe that's why the trail was so bumpy! :P

I wasn't sure if you meant you actually mountain bike during lunch, or if you ride on your road bike around the hills in the area.

I can't even ride my mountain bike down RR

But yeah, mtb. If I road it, then I stick close to the funner roads at work (Morgan Hill)

And, you just need to ride clipless more often to get used to it. And then its second nature and the times you fall because you can't get out become fewer and fewer..(but they do happen and almost always on a climb while going slow and not while bombing down techy stuff)

I rely on being clipped in for downhilly stuff. I freak out if I come unclipped on a downhill.

Learning to ride on flat pedals is giving you great biking skills. So don't fret if you never make the switch.
