My race report

I swam, I biked, I ran.

And apparently I did all that really slowly.

That's all.

Are MTB tri people as crazy as regular tri people?

You are not slow, its just that other people in your age group were a hair faster.

Okay, I just looked at the website for this race. Definitely heavy on the mtn biking -- the swim and run pale in comparison. Let's see, 10 minute run, one hour bike, 25 minute run. Now if I could just do it without the swim it would be my kinda race!

Ooh, I read further.....half of the ride is on pavement? Sign me up next year!

Lorri-by next year you will be all dirt and no pavement. Trust me, the dirt is WAAAAY more fun. Although I could have used your cross bike.

Judith-I was slow. But, it was a good race for me. I guess I'd better write up a real race report, hm?

I'll never be all dirt....you gotta train endurance for mtn biking on the road, silly!

And I'm still a roadie through & through (with a little bit of dirt under my nails).

Did they allow cross bikes in the race?

Tsk, such a little roadie. :)Eventually you'll come over to the dark side. And yep, it was a perfect cross bike course.
