Biking bliss

Ever have one of those weekends where you just have one good bike ride after another? This morning I went on the perfect mountain bike ride with my husband. It met all of his mt biking requirements: no climbing uphill, and no going downhill. Usually that's not what I consider a mountain bike ride, more like a trip to Pak n' Sav. But I found the perfect trail for him, 20 minutes away from my house.

And most importantly, I actually had fun. A few miles of swoopy, flowy singletrack along a stream, in the woods.

And just to add the chocolate sprinkles on top of an already ice cream trail; I found jumps.

Yep, that's right. Bethie size jumps right in the middle of single track nirvana.

Can it get any better than that?

Why yes it can. Because this particular trail doesn't close until an hour after sunset. That means the possibility of a whole hour ( and maybe more) of riding, in the dark, on this not too difficult, flowy, singletracky trail.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
