So what's bugging you?

On last nights mountain bike ride at Arastradero I fought off huge mosquitoes, swarms of flies, and little green buggy hoppy things, but not, thankfully, ticks. Apparently ticks find bikegods very tasty.
On tonights ride up at Alum Rock there were several swarms of flies on the trail. At one point I got flies in my ear. I was shaking my head like a dog, batting the air and trying to ride my bike. I'm sure I looked like I was having a seizure. Remarkably I did manage to stay on my bike, but I was not smiling during the downhill like I usually do. Bugs in the teeth is not a good look.

I'm glad the sun is finally shining, but I'm not really loving the bugs.

Other things that are bugging me; my shock is completely flat. I rode bmx style all evening, very uncomfortable on the back.

And I couldn't get into my blog earlier today, and now I'm missing posts. Hmmm. Very buggy.

Did you get a good set of biking buddies yesterday? How many went riding?

I got one very nice biking buddy. We had a lovely ride. Suprisingly enough the other person I was expecting didn't show. Maybe she was too tired? Or perhaps she didn't have enough help changing her gears to get out of the driveway? Hmmm.... Oh well. She's biking with a certain clerk on Saturday so I'm SURE she'll find enough energy to do that.
