Then I went over to ridemonkey and read some 17 year old punk ass kid talk about how women weren't suited for downhill. He figures that somehow we are at a genetic disadvantage cause we can make babies. Ummm, 'scuse me?
That irritates me.
Someone hand me my helmet. I've got hills to go down.
And talking about conquering; my friend Judith is going to do Pacific Grove. She hasn't gotten to the point of sign up yet, but I know her. She's chewing on it hard. She'll come around. She knows she has it in her, but she hasn't given herself permission yet. But if she doesn't race it will always be an itch she needs to scratch. That's the way it is with us women. Always pushing, working at proving ourselves, always taking it up a step. I guess we're just genetically disadavantaged that way.

"We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." said the Cat.
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

So you think I'm going to have itches? I'm still THINKING about Pacific Grove and I would like to ask the organizers some questions. Anyone out there know what the Pacific Grove t-shirt looks like?
LOL. What kind of questions Judith?
She wants to know if she's allowed to flirt with the lifeguards. You're going to do it, you know you are. :) And so is Elaine. *grin*
Leaving now before y'all start throwing things at me.
So which races did you sign up for in your crazy flurry?
SJ mountain bike tri
Both Mermaids and Pacific Grove(sprint only).
Then I'm going to do one or two XC races in July, there's a downhill race (maybe)in September, then cyclocross season starts.
