There are two little downhills at Alum Rock, that as of yet, have defeated me. I managed to ride them; squeezing the brakes, dragging my foot and squealing all the way down. That's impressive. I sure as heck want to do downhill at Sea Otter next year, dragging feet and screaming "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
I know those hills are rideable, I had the perfect line picked out too. If I could just turn off my brain, and lay off the brakes I would have been fine. It was a not one of my best rides; messed up every single switchback too.
Practice, practice, practice.
So here's the dealio; in two weeks, before I head out to Wildflower, I'm going to conquer those two hills, and be able to ride down a smallish flight of stairs with ease.
Sugoi Dirt Series Camp this weekend! I'm all about the skills. When I get back I'm going to
be mighty!

Up to you! I'm not the one who has a tri coming up first weekend of MAY! You're the "trainer", so its between you and your conscience. Let me know though, Ben wants to spend some "quality time" together and maybe call out sick Monday. You know how I feel about him calling out sick. Enjoy your non-working weekend!
