Up and running...again

I've been running this week, between the rains. I was a little surprised when I started. I didn't mean to run. I was going for a walk and suddenly my feet were moving a little faster, and before I knew it, I was running.

Running is a dangerous sport for me. You give me a painfree mile and I want 9 more. I would run every single day if my body would let me; mile after mile, legs and heart and lungs working until they burned.

Sunday I'm going to run with my friend in the Mermaid 3k/5k/half marathon. Which distance am I going to do?
Well, prudence says I should sign up for the 3 miles because I know I can do that without any pain to the hamstring. Better to be safe than sorry! However, ego says do the 6 miles, because life is short, and what's the worse than can happen?

3 miles?

or 6?

Knowing me, I'll probably sign up for the half marathon and end up crippling myself for life.

Too late-I'm running the 1/2! Bwahahahahaaaa! ;) Just kidding. I'm going to run 6, but I'm running it with Judith and promise to go slow and steady and walk if I need to. It'll be fine. :) Now...how many miles are you going to do?!

I told you....friends in town! I can't have 2 events while friends are in town. One is enough! I'll be praying for you though :)

Wait...what day is it?

Yeah....definitley not...I was confused about the date...but Pattie and I are going to ride the Cinderella course on Sunday. I think 63 miles will be enough for that day...
