I quit?

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

I know you get stressed out when you hurt your leg. But you look so *happy* when you cross the finish line. Like you're saying 'wheee, I did it! Look at meeee world! ' And I don't blame you.

Your friends look up to you for inspiration, and it's amazing to see how good you look. Since starting the whole diet / exercise thing you've lost, what, 90 pounds!? WHOA. Most people go the opposite way and start packing it on after a few years of being married. I'm really proud of you and think you're way cool. :)

He's well worth his weight in playstations and goobergrape ;).

I am praying, and thinking-packing up for the race tonight reminds me how much I love doing that kind of stuff.
