Fickle
I was loving little pink sock; cute little stiches; such a perky color...but then. Then. I went to Michaels and saw the funkiest green yarn ever spun just sitting there, all sassy and green. And I needed to knit the scarf, because my life would be complete if I could just have a cool, hip scarf made out of this funky green yarn. So I justified the scarf by saying it was a good, easy quick knit; something to do to while away the afternoon. So I brought home the yarn and ignoring the sock I knitted the scarf. But you see, loyalty is always rewarded because as I got half way into the green scarf, I decided that I wasn't really that fond of it after all. It wasn't funky. In fact, it was kind of frumpy. And the green, well, the green really didn't say hip so much as it said Oscar the Grouch.
Well, see for yourself...
This is the yarn that started it all. How I could have looked at that and not thought "cabbage". I guess it's back to the pink sock.
