Today Judith, Annapruna and I, along with a bunch of other crazy ladies, went running in the cold rain at the first annual Mermaid 5k/10k/half-marathon. Judith ran her first 6 miles ever! And I'm pleased to note that this was my first 6 mile injury free run since October! Other than those two milestones, the race itself was not so memorable. It's very cold running with the wind whipping across the wetlands; not to mention kind of smelly. And the tshirt was a very ugly green. And if we aren't running for cute tshirts, then what's the point really?

I am wearing at least 7 layers of clothing. Brrrrr........

Congrats on Injury freeness!
That day I tried to ride in the rain and wind...to no avail...just muddyness and danger on the road!
Road biking in the rain-no so good! :/ Hey, your crazy boy wanted to mountain bike this weekend, I'm sorry I didn't get back to him! Did he get out in the mud and snow? Soon, we'll all go hit the trails.
